Dear Arts in Education Supporter:
Thank you for taking the time to complete this confidential survey. It contains 12 questions and should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
NALC needs your input to help define future programming and advocacy activities to promote arts in education across the Commonwealth.
As a result of the merger between NALC and MAAE, made possible through the support of The Boston Foundation, NALC has formed the Massachusetts Arts Education Committee to continue the advocacy work of MAAE. Now strategic planning is underway to position our newly formed MAEC for action in early 2008. The committee, which includes arts in education practitioners and experts in the field, will hold its first meeting in January.
NALC will become the Massachusetts affiliate of the Kennedy Center's Alliance for Arts Education Network, and is committed to continuing MAAE's key programs such as the Champions of Arts Education Awards and National Symphony Orchestra's National Trustee Fellowship, and expanding arts education advocacy activities.
The information you provide will help us improve our services and programs. Based on the feedback we received last year, we developed a conference attended by over 200 people, newsletters sent to nearly 5000 people, and programs affecting over 600 children that focused on the topics and services rated most valuable by those who completed the survey.
Thank you in advance for your support!
