Dear Long Beach Resident,

The City is beginning its budget process for FY 2009. This process requires numerous decisions on how the City will spend revenues for the coming year. How the City spends taxpayers' money is a critical part of this process.

I would appreciate your opinions on how the City should spend your money and whether or not the City should raise taxes, create new taxes or increase its debt by selling bonds.
