Platform planks that receive a majority of "I agree" votes will be compiled into a platform document that will be sent to the DNC and the Obama campaign.

The Democratic National Committee's Platform Committee is meeting August 8-10 in Pittsburgh. I Own My Vote invites signatories to its Pledge (see www.IOwnMyVote.com) to vote on our own platform planks that address a range of concerns held by Clinton supporters.

I Own My Vote is presenting members of the Platform Committee with the results of our Virtual Platform Committee Meeting and organizing efforts to amend the draft platform if it fails to address our issues.

It is critical that we continue to advocate for the issues in which we believe and that we show the platform committee that we are a movement with an agenda. So please, continue to participate, and invite your friends to participate, so the full committee will see our numbers and have to hear our voices when we present our final results next Friday.
