1. From Planning to Implementation: Sessions on necessary tools to plan and implement indicator programs, including planning, evaluation, expertise, funding, citizen engagement, communication and visualization. What data sources are available and what tools and technologies exist that support indicator efforts as simply and cost effectively as possible.
2. Creating Partnerships and Crossing Boundaries: Community indicators tend to measure issues and phenomena that cross jurisdictional and agency boundaries. How do we create partnerships and collaborations that give us the best information, respect community priorities and support action? This track will highlight tools, methods and case studies for effective collaboration.
3. Promoting Social Change: This track will feature sessions on applying an indicators approach to innovation in health, children and families, social equity and sustainability, using notable case studies to illustrate how indicators are helping to drive change.
4. Integrating Indicators & Performance Measures: Building on a recurrent theme at previous CIC Conferences, this track will highlight the challenges and benefits of integrating community indicators and performance measures through case studies and applications.
