Are you a new or returning minister?

Have you received training through the Diocese of Cleveland ?  If you would like to be a Eucharistic Minister (Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion), you will need to have Diocesan training as well as training at John Carroll. 

Liturgical Ministry (check all that apply):

Note: JCU training for new Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers will be Sunday, September 12th and Sunday, September 19th. Lectors will be trained at 8:00 pm and Eucharistic ministers at 8:30 pm on both Sundays (you only need to attend one Sunday). Additional training sessions may be offered if needed. You will be contacted individually if you are interested in serving as a sacristan or altar server or as a member of the Liturgy Committee .

If you have previously been trained at JCU, you do not have to repeat the JCU training this year.  You do have to attend Diocesan training if you are a eucharistic minister unless you attended a Cleveland Diocese training during the time period of  May 2009- August, 2010.

Commissioning for all new ministers will take place at both the 6:00 pm and the 10:00 pm Mass (you need only attend one) on Sunday, September 19th.  Commissioning for eucharistic ministers who receive training this fall through the Diocese of Cleveland will be scheduled at a later date.
