The Phoenix Conservatory of Music is seeking your help in finding leaders to make an impact. Our mission is to unleash the power of music by providing quality low or no cost music programs to the community.
Over the next three years, Phoenix Conservatory of Music will:
· With the Help of Ad2 Greater Phoenix, Build a brand that accurately reflects our mission.
· Position ourselves more prominently in the community.
· Create a valley wide reach through an aggressive marketing campaign
· Develop a central campus with satellite outreach locations
· Create an outstanding private music lesson program
· Fully leverage our Berklee School of Music Affiliate Program.
We need to diversify and strengthen our revenue streams to provide sustainability and meet the growing need in the community:
· Engage the individual donor.
· Develop Corporate Relationships and Support.
· Expand and make our special events more profitable.
All board members must contribute to the organization (governing board members give a minimum gift of $300, and advisory board members give to their capacity-but a gift must be given) and fund-raise on behalf of the organization.
We require that all board members be ambassadors of the organization, attend meetings regularly (governing board members can miss no more than 2 meetings annually, and advisory board members can miss no more than 7 annually), attend organizational programs and events. The board meets for special sessions up to 2 times annually, has regular 2.5 hour meetings every 4-6 weeks, and communicates between meetings by utilizing the web 2.0 and email. Governing Board Members and Advisory board members must serve on at least one committee.
