Survey : Questions

1.0) Officials of the East Bay Regional Park District are seeking public input about the system of Regional Public Parklands, Facilities, Trails and related matters. This survey is not part of any political campaign; and, your responses to our questions will remain totally confidential. Would you mind sharing a few minutes of your time and respond to our brief questionnaire?

First we would like to know whether you agree or disagree with several statements related to local issues, government services and the East Bay Regional Park system. Please use the following scale:

   - I strongly disagree
   - I somewhat disagree
   - I don't really agree or disagree, unsure
   - I somewhat agree
   - I strongly agree

1.1) The regional park system, consisting of recreational parks, picnic areas, wilderness areas and trails, is a valuable public resource and service for the citizens of the East Bay area (Alameda and Contra Costa counties). Do you agree or disagree?   Would that be strongly or just somewhat?

1.2) The availability of regional parks, picnic areas, wilderness areas, open space, and trails provided by and through the East Bay Regional Park District improves the quality of life for residents throughout Alameda County and Contra Costa County.

1.3) Regional parks and recreational facilities MUST be properly maintained for the present, as well as future, generations to use and enjoy.

1.4) District officials should place a high priority on environmental maintenance.
