Habitat for Humanity in Rochester is moving toward re-establishing a local "ReStore" used building supply store. As a valued Habitat stakeholder, could you take two minutes of your time to give the ReStore Task Force your input? Your prompt response is appreciated. THANK YOU for your support!
Have you ever heard of the Habitat ReStore, either in the Rochester area or in another community?
Habitat ReStores are outlets that accept donated home improvement goods from local retailers, contractors and individuals in the community. These donated goods are sold to the general public at 10-50% of the retail price to help local affiliates fund the construction of Habitat homes. ReStores provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream and simultaneously provide funding for all of Habitat’s community improvement work.
