Greetings!

The Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry are sponsoring two leadership experiences for high school youth throughout Western Washington. Both leadership camps are designed to educate, motivate, and celebrate our common call to leadership within our parishes and schools. ASCEND 2010 is for freshman and sophomores in High School who are recognized by their parish or school as leaders or potential leaders. Ascend HD is for juniors and seniors who wish to be challenged to an ever deeper experience and understanding of Catholic leadership.

ASCEND 2010 and Ascend HD both need qualified staff to assist participants as they explore their call to leadership within our church and world. We invite you to complete the attached application form and background check to express your interest in working on ASCEND 2010 and/or Ascend HD. Your response to this form will assist us in the selection of staff. All applications and background checks must be completed and postmarked by Thursday, May 20th.

ASCEND HD/ ASCEND 2010 Dates:
Ascend HD: Tuesday, June 22 - Saturday, June 26, 2010
Ascend: Tuesday, July 6 - Saturday, July 10, 2010
Required Staff Training:
ALL ASCEND HD STAFF Monday, June 21
ALL ASCEND STAFF Monday, July 5 10-10
We offer two 3-hour trainings in the spring
You will be required to attend one of these
