2010-2011 Volunteer Opportunities

The following is a list of tasks/areas where you can help.  Please let us know which ones you're willing to do.
Serve as a new member mentor
Set up/clean up for member meetings
Develop fundraising ideas
Research and write grants
Do photography for Guild events and/or items for promotional materials
Guild Archives; organize, catalogue, conserve the collection
Guild Historian: record/process Guild events for the archives
Help with Membership Activities
Greet/Welcome New Members at Meetings
Staff the office for special events or occasional Saturdays (10am-3pm)
Plan and install exhibits
Help at Fiber Fair (our November annual sale)
Help with Fiber Source (our in-house store)
Staff our booth at the State Fair (2011)
Staff our booths at community events
Demonstrate weaving / spinning
Work with schools
Help with special mailings
Weave fabric to for swatch page
Work with a team to cut and prepare swatches for mailing to members
