This survey is a joint project of the Rural Maryland Council and the Maryland Rural Health Association.
Many efforts are already underway in Maryland to provide telemedicine/telehealth services. However, the type, extent and source of those services are unknown.
The goal of this survey is to compile an accurate inventory of projects already underway around Maryland and to inform statewide policymakers about telehealth/telemedicine and Electronic Health Record implementation issues.
Survey results will also be available to those providing and receiving services so that they can better coordinate their efforts, build a foundation for compatible infrastructure, address key issues and potentially apply for increased funding to support and expand their services.
Our ultimate goal, of course, is to find efficient, cost effective ways to use technology to increase access to quality health care in rural communities.
The survey is only 20 questions and should take you about 10 minutes. You must finish the survey once you have opened it. That is, you can't save it. To view the questions first, see: http://www.rural.state.md.us/Updated_Telehealth_Survey.pdf
