I support a strong national defense. I believe that in order to assure peace, we must always show we are prepared for war.

I support fiscal responsibility and putting an end to the out-of-control spending that has led us into a $13 trillion national debt.

I support the repeal of President Obama's Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare"). It is an unconstitutional mandate the government does not have the right to enforce.

I support stopping Cap and Trade legislation, which imposes an undue, unbearable burden on businesses, which could otherwise invest in creating new products and jobs.

I support revising the disastrous Federal Tax Code and reducing taxes for everyone. We cannot stay competitive in the global market with the world's highest corporate tax rate and the burden of high individual taxes.

I believe that faith in God and strong families form the backbone of America. Our leaders must cultivate an environment in which the permanent institutions of family and religion can flourish.

I support the rights of the individual, as granted by God and defined by our Constitution. Socialist policies that "spread the wealth" breed complacency, government dependence, and failure.

I believe the federal government should exercise ONLY the powers granted by the Constitution, and stop usurping the rights of the states, which are better able to represent the will of the people.

I support a return to a truly free market, where businesses and individuals create, innovate, and compete, and therefore, authentically meet the needs of their local communities and the global economy.

I support the responsible use of America's natural resources. America must, once and for all, become energy independent so that enemies of the United States cannot use energy supplies as an economic weapon against us.

I support enforcing our immigration laws and protecting our borders. The U.S. simply cannot sustain the burden on our economic system, healthcare system, and education system that comes with uncontrolled illegal immigration.

I am over the age of 60.
