I hope that everyone is working hard and listening to music with the eager anticipation of entering the Mint Hill Arts May show, "Notable ART," Art Inspired By Music. Intake is Friday, May 6 from 4-6 PM and
Saturday, May 7 from 10AM-12 PM.

Music, what would our lives be without it?
Just think, weddings would have no wedding bands.
How could we dance to the "Hokey Pokey?"
Folk singers would be "folk sayers."
What the heck would we listen to in our cars, only talk radio?
Saying,"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...." would not be the same.

As visual artists, we feel a kinship with musicians. Their art and ours mix, cross and intertwine.

The following survey is for all of us to have fun and to get us excited about creating musically inspired art. The results will be posted on line a day or two before the opening reception on May 13 from 7-9P M.
