The MIT Sea Grant College Program is conducting a survey on stakeholder priorities in the Gulf of Maine region. We are currently developing an implementation plan that will address research priorities that stakeholders identified a couple of years ago. Your input is key to identifying which issues matter the most today so that we direct our resources appropriately. Please complete the survey by January 31, 2012. This survey is very brief and will take no more than 2-3 minutes. The survey results will contribute to the development of the Gulf of Maine Regional Ocean Science Plan and we want as many responses as possible in order to accurately and effectively develop policy that incorporates the needs and interests of stakeholders in the region. We truly appreciate your time and participation. We will use this information without revealing individual names to prepare the implementation plan for the Gulf of Maine Regional Ocean Science Plan, along with reports for the National Sea Grant Office, federal and state marine resource agencies, and academia. All information you give us will be considered confidential and released only in aggregate form. Your participation is voluntary and you may choose not to answer specific questions. All information will be maintained in secure files at the MIT Sea Grant College Program in Cambridge, MA. If the results of this project are published your identity will not be made public. A final report summarizing the results of this study will be made available upon request. You are welcome to request a copy of this final report. Thank you in advance for your time to share your priorities for the region.
