Our West Valley Emergency Preparedness Unit has been working with LAFD to provide just one very coveted weekend class of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. They got the commitment! LAFD only requires 25 verified enrollees to proceed!
This will NOT be happening anytime again in the foreseeable future anywhere in the City of Los Angeles. They will schedule the class with our Emergency Preparedness Unit once that 25th person has called! The class will be scheduled between late March to late April. The kind people at the American Legion Hall, located at 7228 Canby Avenue, have offered us their facility to hold the training demonstrating their commitment to the greater West Valley community's Emergency Preparedness.
