Laurita Winery Idol (American Style) welcomes musicians to its Laurita Winery American Idol style contest. Auditions are open to anyone over 18 years of age. Contestants may be accompanied by a backup musician. Each contestant will perform one song during the open auditions. During the finals, two songs may be required.

The Grand Prize Winner of "Laurita's American Idol" will receive $1,000.00       

The Second Place Prize is a night's stay at the Inn at Laurita Winery and two wine tastings at the winery.        

The Third Place Prize is a $100 gift certificate to be used at Laurita Winery.

RULE 1
Laurita American Idol contest dates:
Nov.  2    -Open Auditions
Nov.  9    -Open Auditions
Nov. 16   -Open Auditions
Nov. 23   -Semi Finals
Nov. 30   -Semi Finals
Dec.  7    -Finals

RULE 2
All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
No explicit lyrics, songs or gestures.

RULE 3
Contestant will be evaluated by impartial judges. All decisions of the judges are final.

RULE 4
Contestants will be judged on:
- Singing/playing ability
- Appearance & Stage Presence
- Ability to Adapt & Sing various genres of Music
- Interaction with audience & audience reaction
- Difficulty of song/piece

RULE 5
The judges reserve the right for final approval on all pieces selected for performance.

RULE 6
All performers participating in the contest, agree to hold Laurita Winery and its employees harmless from any and all claims or damages resulting fro
