The Golden Affair 

 

April 20th Evening Volunteer Opportunity


What: Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Phoenix -West while raising funds and awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix and the many community projects of the Rotary Club of Phoenix-West! "The Golden Affair" will feature Live and Silent Auctions, Raffles, and a Buffet Dinner and Entertainment! 

 

Volunteers will assist with tasks including guest check-in, silent auction monitoring, live auction bid spotting, selling raffle tickets, and auction cashiers and runners. Click here for detailed descriptions of The Golden Affair Volunteer Opportunities.
**Tasks will be assigned at the event.**

 

Please note: The miniumum age requirement to volunteer at the event is 16 yrs. old.

 

When: Saturday, April 20, 2013 - 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Volunteers will be asked to arrive by 4:30 for training and a light meal. It is expected that volunteers will complete duties by 11 PM.

 

Where: Embassy Suites Phoenix-North - 2577 W. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85023

  

 

Additional Volunteer Opportunities



  • April 16 - April. 18 - "Pre-Event Set-up" at the Roanoke House 
     
    • Flexible hours between 10 AM - 5 PM
    • Tasks include: assisting the development staff and committee with gift basket assembly, drafting of donation description sheets, tagging, inventory, and additional tasks as assigned.   


  • April 20 - "Day of Event" Auction Set-up at Embassy Suites Phoenix North 
    • The RMH staff and Rotarian volunteers will be there starting at around 9AM. Our goal is to have everything set-up by early afternoon to give staff time to change.   
    • Exact time is based on available access to the space, but requested access by 9AM
    •  Tasks include assisting with unloading auction supplies/items at destination and setting  up the auction tables, decor set-up.
