Social Entrepreneurship is the identification of a social problem and the use of entrepreneurial principles and practices to create a social venture aimed at solving the problem. Social Entrepreneurs are important to the community and to the world, as they work to achieve social change through non-traditional and forward-thinking methods. The Rotary Clubs of Central and Southeast Ohio are comprised of
community leaders who believe in "Service About Self." A large number
of them are small business owners. That's why Rotary is proud to
recognize the social entrepreneurs that make our communities and the
world a better place to live for everyone.
