This is the formal application for the Gene Haas Foundation - National Institute for Metalworking Skills (GHF-NIMS) Scholarship Program.
The GHF-NIMS Credentialing Scholarship Program will provide eligible secondary and post-secondary institutions with grants to build high-quality technical programs that provide students with industry-recognized credentials and foundational skills. To stimulate new credential growth, eligible institutions must not currently offer NIMS credentials.
Please note: At the request of the funder, proposals should only include requests for credentialing activities, not for equipment, text books, instructor training, etc.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and awards will be provided to new programs as funds are available.
