The annual Human Rights Day observance at the State Capitol carries on a tradition that was started many years ago by the Oklahoma Human Rights Commission. We are proud to carry on this tradition of honoring the men and women in our state who help to define the meaning of human rights where we live.

Our 2015 Human Rights Day observance will take place on Thursday, December 10th, at the Oklahoma Capitol building, in the chamber of the House of Representatives. The public is invited to attend.

The Human Rights awards program is sponsored by the Oklahoma Universal Human Rights Alliance in collaboration with the Oklahoma City chapter of the United Nations Association of the USA. We are proud to support the values expressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Use this form to nominate someone you know who expresses, supports, and exemplifies the meaning of human rights in Oklahoma.

PLEASE NOTE: Nominations must be submitted by Tuesday, December 1st. For more information, please call Wilfredo Santos-Rivera: 405-631-3027. Thank you!
