2015 Assembly Requests & Submissions

Assembly begins mid-afternoon on Friday, May 1 and concludes around noon on Sunday, May 3.  

 Sheraton, Downtown Salt Lake City, UT

Displays, if possible, should be set up through Sunday, as members of Utah congregations will be invited to worship with the assembly that morning.

Please respond to the questions below. Some of the options require the submission of fees. You will not receive an automatic email response or invoice. Please tally your fees as you complete the form, and then make out your check to Rocky Mountain Synod and send to: 7375 Samuel Drive, Denver, CO 80221, PRIOR TO MARCH 15. Please note the purpose for the fees on the memo line. It will be necessary for you to work through the entire form and click submit at the end. Required questions are marked with an asterisk.

A DISPLAY TABLE may be reserved for the 2015 Assembly. Each table must be hosted by someone who is registered as a voting member, a visitor, or an exhibitor.

We prepare a MINISTRY MAGAZINE with one-page snapshots of synod ministries, boards, and agencies. The deadline to submit your page is March 5. Submissions may be a Word document or .pdf file, 8.5 x 11 inches. This year the Ministry Magazine will be digital via the web and our downloadable Guidebook app. Therefore, there is NO additional charge for color.  Color submissions are encouraged!

Trivia Night!

On Saturday evening, we will be hosting a trivia night that will feature you, our partners in ministry. During dinner, attendees will be encouraged to visit the display areas to learn about all the different ministries that happen throughout the RMS and ELCA, as a way of preparing for trivia.

We are asking for you to submit questions, audio bites, pictures, videos, etc. that can be used as trivia questions. Be creative! You are encouraged to submit a wide variety so that we have a variety of questions (though we may or may not use all submitted questions). The answer to your question should appear somewhere on your display or in a handout.

Plenary time will be very limited at this assembly, so this is your chance for attendees to learn about your ministry!
