Do you use Japanese language in the workplace?
The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles is planning a video advocacy campaign to support the study of Japanese language in American
schools. We are working with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign
Languages (
ACTFL) through their upcoming
Lead With Languages campaign, set to
launch on March 1, 2017. Their website will have a "Lead with Japanese" page,
and we plan to have testimonial videos from professional Americans who use
Japanese language in the course of their work.
Depending on where you live, we might:
A)
Send a camera crew to interview you at
work and maybe even film you speaking, reading, or typing in Japanese (if
possible).
B)
Bring you to LA or DC to interview you!
If you are interested in participating in this project, please fill out the form below by January 13, 2017. We will not use your information for anything other than this project. If you have any questions, please email jflaeducation@jflalc.org.
