Bonner Scholars are committed to working for social justice and developing long-term, community-based relationships that are based on mutual respect, compassion, and a commitment to development for all. Accordingly, CNU Bonners are much more than "volunteers" who "do a lot of service."  Rather, they become good at building healthy relationships and deeply involved and educated in a specific issue-area, contributing significantly to our local community over the course of four years.

Required
Choose an issue area or population (homelessness, youth education, immigration, aging, etc.,) that you care deeply about.  Explain ways you have been involved so far, and what you have learned in the process. (20 lines of text/1,000 characters)
