Executive Director Survival Skills PLUS*
Friday, November 3 - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Newport News

Jane Stein, JPS Consulting. This 3-hour class is designed to give newer Executive Directors and CEOs (in their role 3 years or less) a guide to what it takes to survive as an extraordinary leader of a successful nonprofit organization. This class will cover the nature of leadership and moving successfully from mission to performance with happier management of your Board, better management of your Staff, great management of your money, and healthier management of your time and your life. This class will include learning, activities, and opportunities to network with fellow EDs and to create relationships for continued sharing of successes, challenges, and issues that you face as you lead your organization to fulfill its mission. Breakfast and snacks will be provided. (Cost: is $20 for leaders of nonprofits with FULL memberships; $35 for leaders of nonprofits with LIMITED memberships; or $45 for Guests.) Cost includes November 3 workshop plus benefits listed below.

*Following this class, participants will be connected with a seasoned Executive Director to provide mentoring, one hour of one-on-one time with an Executive Coach, a binder of resources for nonprofit leaders, and opportunities to attend networking events with fellow EDs and CEOs.

For those who register but do not attend, have not cancelled one week prior, and/or have not sent a substitute in their place, there will be charge of $20 per person to cover costs incurred.
