UDSF would like to put together a team to participate in the National Ability Center 2019 Summit Challenge, August 24th 2019. This challenge is a bike race taking place in Park City for individuals with all disabilities ages 18 and up. Options include a 1 mile loop, 16, 50 or 100 mile routes (longer routes to be done as team relays). Recumbent, tandem, hand cycle and upright bikes are provided and fit to participants by the NAC, who will also offer a 5 week training for $149 (no biking experience required). Registration for the race is free for individuals with Down syndrome, for family and friends who would like to ride along, a registration fee will be required by NAC.
