Dear DCI Partner,

74% of Americans prioritize experiences over products or things. Nationally, it's estimated that consumers are spending $160 to $180 billion annually on experiences. In 2017, visitors to Colorado spent nearly $21 billion on experiencing our state. Welcome to the Experience Economy; an economy in which many goods or services are sold by emphasizing the effect they can have on people's lives. Are you prepared to take advantage of this market opportunity?

Downtown Colorado, Inc., in partnership with Futures United Network with funding generously provided by the USDA, invite businesses and entrepreneurs in Brush, Lamar, Silverton and Trinidad to apply to be in our inaugural cohort of community leaders ready to capitalize on the Experience Economy. If selected, participants receive access to:

- One day business strategy session and workshop in your town/region.
- An "Experience Economy" audit designed to amplify your existing assets.
- One hour followup meeting tailored to supporting your business goals.
- Connection into a regional/statewide network of potential partners, industry experts, peers and promotional opportunities.

Submit your application on or before Friday, July 19, 2019, at 11:59pm MDT.
