Thank you for applying for your interest in CNS's program LEAD (Leadership, Education, and Development). LEAD engages two parallel learning cohorts in each community -- one made up of future nonprofit leaders and one made up of current leaders -- for a program of training, peer support, and professional development.

The trainings for future leaders will develop emerging talent within the nonprofit sector by offering skill-building, resources, and mentorship to community members 18 to 40 years old. The trainings for current nonprofit leaders are designed to help local organizations better recruit and retain younger members and increase their board management skills.

CNS will connect the cohorts to encourage the placement of future leaders at local nonprofits. At the end of the five-month training series, LEAD participants from both cohorts will come together to plan and host a nonprofit fair in their community. Participation in the program is free.

This application is for the future leaders cohort in Astoria, Klamath Falls, or Pendleton.

Participation in the program is free; the program in these locations is generously sponsored by funders such as The Ford Family Foundation and the Wildhorse Foundation.
