WV Invests Community Service Opportunities
RequiredRequired Question(s)
Select one of the opportunities below to meet your two hour WV Invests community service requirement for the spring semester! Please select an opportunity one week in advance of the volunteer date. Locations and a description of volunteer duties are provided. WVNCC has structured these opportunities for you; all you need to do is show up, give back to your community, and have a positive attitude! If you do not see a date/time listed that work with your schedule, please contact swood@wvncc.edu for assistance!

Once you select one of the volunteer opportunities below, you will receive an email from Sara Wood, the Director of Student Activities. This email will include a WV Invests Community Service Form that must be filled out and returned to your Campus Service Center or the Office of Student Activities (Wheeling Student Union). Community service hours completed before or after the term do not count toward the two hour requirement. Failure to complete and document the completion of the community service requirement will result in the student becoming ineligible for the West Virginia Invests Grant. For additional questions, please email swood@wvncc.edu or 304-214-8917.
