PFAS Member Survey

State and Federal legislators are looking at bans and restrictions on PFAS chemicals in many industries - including cosmetics and personal care.

What are PFAS?  Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances are a group of man-made chemicals that includes PTFE (Teflon), PFOA (perfluorooctanic acid), PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonic acid), GenX, and many other chemicals.  They have been used in non-stick cookware, water-repellant clothing, stain resistant fabrics and carpets, some cosmetics (such as nail polish, eye makeup, and shampoo), some firefighting foams, and products that resist grease, water, and oil.

Please take the below survey to help us assess our Membership's use of PFAS and the impact any future legislation may have on our member companies.
