Since COVID-19 shut down face to face meetings and events, your BOMA CNY Chapter and BOMA International have been providing you with a series of articles and webinars on major issues affecting the commercial real estate business.

Even though Upstate New York is now in Phase 3 of the State-mandated requirements to open more businesses and face to face gatherings of up to 25 people are allowed, there are still many operating limitations.

We would like your feedback of what we provided and what else you would like from BOMA.

For building owners/managers
Future Occupancy: There are factors in addition to higher levels of working from home that will impact future occupancy levels including - 
* Pace of tenant business recovery - especially with respect to the restaurant and retail sector

* The extent to which some tenant businesses will not be returning  

* The impacts of continued distance learning for schools will keep parents at home and how this possibly inflates- daycare options are limited.
