As many of you know, Vacation Bible School-or "VBS" as we call it-is a HUGE community outreach for our church...and families both inside and outside our congregation need connection this year more than any in recent memory! After last summer's cancellation due to the pandemic, we're looking at several different variations and options to be able to safely and responsibly offer this great week of learning about Jesus to our young people. And while that might mean VBS looks different this year than it has in the past, that's okay!
Regardless, the thing that hasn't changed is we'll need a large number of YOU to help us share the love of Jesus with our community! As with any style of in-person VBS, many different serving opportunities are available: small group leaders, area leaders (music, storytelling, crafts, games, snacks), prep help before VBS, nursery for volunteers, check-in leaders, health screeners, student leaders and more. Some of these roles involve direct contact/supervision of kiddos and some are behind the scenes or with little-to-no child contact.
Your responses to the short survey below will greatly help us in our planning as we determine this summer's format and capacity levels. We're excited about what VBS can and WILL be!
