2017 White House Area Chamber of Commerce Award Nomination
Nominations are now open for the annual White House Area Chamber of Commerce Awards. There are three categories, Citizen of the Year, The Horizon Award (for profit businesses) and The Impact Award (non-profit businesses and organizations). If you would like to nominate for any or all of these categories, please fill out the information below.

You may nominate in every category, you may nominate more than one person/business.Multiple nominations for an individual or business from the same person will not affect the outcome, all nominations will be presented to the Award Committee for selection of winners.

1.
CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Citizen of the Year award presented by the Robertson County Times, recognizes an individual with outstanding leadership and citizenship in the community, while demonstrating exemplary vision, civic pride and commitment to the betterment of society.

The individual should live in the White House area, and/or his/her activities should be centered in the same area. The individual recognized does not have to be a member of the White House Area Chamber of Commerce or the business community. It may be an individual from any walk of life, and there are no requirements or restrictions relating to gender, race, religion or ethnic background.

Please provide the name of your nominee and a brief description as to why they are deserving of the Citizen of the Year Award.

HORIZON AWARD
The Horizon Award will be presented to a for-profit business that is a member in good standing of the White House Area Chamber of Commerce. This award will be based on four key components: Public visibility and positive impact, Community service and events, Economic development and fiscal responsibility and Attraction/Improvement to the City.

Please provide the name of the business you wish to nominate and a brief description about their service and attributes.

IMPACT AWARD
The Impact Award will be awarded to a non-profit organization that exemplifies the following components: Community visibility, Community service or events, Community impact/reputation, and Community partnerships. Non-profit organization (based upon tax status), included but not limited to, service organizations, charities, schools, churches, sports clubs, community activism and social services.

Please provide the name of the business or organization you wish to nominate and a brief description about their service and attributes.
